- Cosumnes River College is in a consortium made up of all 4 of the Los Rios Colleges, College of San Mateo, Santa Rosa Junior College, and Diablo Valley College, and professors from those colleges apply and are selected to teach the same courses, obviously in English, that they teach at the different colleges. All of the courses are transfer level courses so students make excellent progress toward their graduation and transfer goals. Students will learn and develop so much more in knowledge, skills, abilities, and values. Here are the requirements for the Study Abroad program: must have 12 college units with a GPA of 2.5, anytime and anywhere. To join the Study Abroad program you do not need to be a student in the Los Rios School District. During the 13 week semester program, all students take 12 units in the Study Abroad program, a 3 unit “Life and Culture” class, one other CRC class and then two other classes from the list of offerings. During the 5 week Summer programs, all students take 7 units in the Study Abroad Program, a 1 unit “Life and Culture” class and 6 units from 2 course offerings. Do you over Study Aboard for families? I have two children and a husband I would like to take along for a study aboard program.
ReplyDeleteI studied abroad in Florence last summer and I have to say I has been the greatest and richest memory of my life. I think going to Florence should be a mission for everyone.
